How to Make a QR Code for Your Car
A generic QR generator embeds your number or a link inside the code, and everyone who scans it sees that. For a car, the code should point at an alert page you control, and the page should show no personal details at all.

Free online generators put the text or link straight inside the code. Make a "tel:" QR and everyone who scans it reads your number — it is a written number with one extra step, nothing more.
Second problem: an embedded code cannot be changed. If your number changes, or somebody starts abusing the code, there is nothing you can do except peel the sticker off.
Third: most free generators route through their own redirect service. If the service closes, your code dies with it.
What the right setup looks like
The code should point at an address that carries no personal data. That address should belong to your account rather than to the code itself, so you can change your details without reprinting, and replace the code entirely if you need to.
The page it opens should not accept free text. Prepared alerts — parking, lights, damage, emergency — are both harder to abuse and clearer to the driver receiving them.
The alert should arrive as a notification, without you having to wire up email or SMS.
