How is the ready sticker linked to a car?

Sign in
Sign in on the web app or in the Google Play or App Store app; create a free account if you have none.

Open “Link a ready sticker”
Tap “Link a ready sticker” on the My vehicles page. You can also scan the QR code on the sticker with your phone camera; the same screen opens.

Enter the code and the PIN
Enter the short code and the PIN printed on the sticker. The PIN is what stops anyone else from linking it.

Choose your car
Pick the car you already have; you do not need to add a new one. Its old QR stops working and the sticker's QR takes over. If you have no car yet, add the sticker as a new one.

Stick it on and test it
Stick it inside a window corner that does not block your view, then scan it with another phone and check that the notification arrives.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use CarQR without buying the sticker?
Yes. On the free plan you can download your QR as a PDF and print it yourself. The ready sticker only does the printing for you.
When does it arrive?
We post it within 5 business days of payment. Delivery time then depends on the post and your address.
Can I return it?
Yes. You can withdraw within 14 days of delivery and we pay for the return. The sticker must be in resalable condition, meaning not linked to a car.
What if I lose it or someone misuses it?
You can switch that QR off in the app; the sticker then stops working.
